Brick

This specially packed boxed set contains all eight of Talking Heads' studio albums, expanded and remastered as two-sided DualDiscs featuring audiophile DVD-A sound, rare and previously unreleased material, and video tracks.

Packaging includes an outer white molded plastic box with raised song titles, housing eight individually packaged white jewel cases, each containing liner notes, rare photos, and song-inspired art pieces.

'Brick' is the first complete artist studio catalog released on DualDisc.

All dualdiscs are scheduled for seperate release in two batches in January 2006. The "Brick" is a limited edition that houses all albums. As the jewel cases in "Brick" do not contain tracklists or titles on the spine, it's very likely the january 2006 releases will come in 'standard' DualDisc digipacks. The discs are rumoured to be identical to the ones in "Brick".

Each disc contains an Advanced Resolution Stereo mix on the regular CD side and an Advanched Resolution 5.1 Surround Sound on the DVD-Audio side (Dolby surround). Both sides come with -different- bonus tracks and videos.

The 5.1 surround mixing was done by Eric 'E.T.' Thorngren (who produced Talking Heads albums in the past and did some remixes for the band too) and Jerry Harrison.

Each album comes with a booklet containing the lyrics for all regular album tracks, liner notes, a note on the 5.1 mix by Jerry Harrison, a limited edition art-print (all taken from the Frank Olinsky book "What the Songs Look Like") and an on-disc photo/picture gallery which can be viewed while listening to the DVD-Audio side.
