Tom Tom Club reissues - update
Posted Wednesday, 28 May, 2008 by francey
Reissues of the Tom Tom Club CD's "Boom Boom Chi Boom Boom" and "Dark Sneak Love Action" are scheduled for release on June 24. Both titles are part of a line called "Encore" at WEA/Rhino. The artwork and tracklisting is identical to the original releases (so, no bonus tracks alas).

The reissue of "Boom Boom Chi Boom Boom" is the American version (originally released four months after the European one, with four different tracks) .

Both Tom Tom Club CDs have been officially out of print for 15-20 years. Available for pre-order now: BBCBB and DSLA.

New David Byrne/Brian Eno album and tour
Posted Saturday, 19 April, 2008 by francey
After an on-stage collaboration with Paul Simon last week, David Byrne told the NY Daily news he's "[...]collaborating with Brian Eno for the first time in 20 years. Brian had written a lot of music, but needed some words, which I know how to do. What's it sound like? Electronic gospel. That's all I'm saying."

Rumours say Byrne & Eno will also hit the road together for a tour in the US later this year.
